made exactly the same way as in the 1920s,
reproducing all details perfectly.
This denim jacket, which can be considered an icon of Taiga Takahashi, is called 'Lot. 703 DENIM JACKET c.1920s'.
For the material,
American organic cotton is used,
woven with an old-fashioned shuttle loom in Okayama, using a 3/1 left twill
original organic cotton 100% lightweight denim.
The denim fabric is woven slowly on an old shuttle loom, which operates at only 1/10 to 1/20 of modern weaving speeds,
and is also called a shuttle loom.
The slow weaving process leaves the cotton yarn's natural irregularities, creating a beautiful, intentionally uneven texture.
The warp yarns are dyed with indigo mixed with sulfur dye,
featuring a green cast color tone that has weathered over many years,
and the weft yarns are yarn-dyed with core-white, using specially ordered neppy yarns that have yellowed over time to give an aged, natural look.
By using these two types of yarns,
Taiga Takahashi achieves a deep, rich original indigo blue.
Additionally, a sanforized (shrink-resistant) finish is applied at the end,
enhancing comfort and fit, inspired by authentic vintage items.
The silhouette features straight sleeves and a shoulder line without slope,
creating a flat, streamlined shape,
with a compact design that allows for layering with shirts or knitwear.
The custom engraved buttons and back are all made of iron,
